Besen Special Assets expands with addition of Kole as managing director

Red Bank, NJ - 2013-11-12

Besen Special Assets revealed the hiring of Daniel Kole as managing director of the residential (1-4 family) whole loan desk. With over 20 years of experience, Kole brings a unique blend of financial advisory expertise. Prior to joining Besen he served as a vice president of investment services with some of the largest financial firms including UBS, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch, and Santander Investment Services.

He holds his series 7, 63, 65, life, health and variable insurance licenses and is also a Certified Retirement Counselor.

Given the continued growth in total trade volume within the residential (1-4 family) whole loan space and steady rise in investor demand, Besen Special Assets capitalized on the opportunity to add Kole to the team. "His experience in the financial markets and whole loan debt space makes him a great asset," said Jonathan Horn, managing partner of the New Jersey based firm, "We are very excited that Daniel decided to join our team as the amount of residential loan sales our firm is executing has grown by 30% over the last few quarters."

Kole will be managing the residential (1-4 family) whole loan desk where he will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations, which include working exclusively on behalf of community, regional and national banks as well as private equity funds and hedge funds in the disposition of residential (1-4 family) whole loans to private, corporate and institutional investors.

"I'm very excited to join the Besen Special Assets team," said Kole, "And I look forward to working with such a talented group of loan sale advisors."
